Dioptase on Calcite

Scintillating, gemmy and lustrous, rich emerald-green dioptase microcrystals cover the undulating matrix of sharp calcite rhombs on this sparkling and rich example of the desirable combination species from the famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine. The color and gemminess of these dioptase crystals is exceptional, even for all the many pieces from here. The sparkle is enhanced by a multitude of tiny calcite rhombs sprinkled on the dioptase crystals. One tiny corner bruise is noticed on one of the prominent rhombs in the center, but is barely noticeable. This would easily be over $1000, if perfect. Valued at $500 and worth it. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
