Item Description
Gemmy, emerald-green dioptase crystals are aesthetically scattered across a crystallized white calcite matrix like sugar. While the dioptase crystals are not large (1-2mm), their pristine habit and the way they elegantly sit on the calcite crystals make this piece exceptionally beautiful. This specimen hails from the Democratic Republic of Congo, a locality that has become increasingly well-known for producing fine dioptase crystals, particularly in recent years as more gemmy specimens have been discovered.
