Item Description
The world's best Dioptases have been produced by Tsumeb over the years. The deep-green color, high luster, and internal gemminess are all excellent, with the amount of green fire created when well-lit being outstanding. The microcrystalline Calcite matrix has a strong, deep-salmon fluorescence. This miniature, anchored by a fine 1.5 cm crystal, is a fine example of the classic mineral of Tsumeb from the mid 1980s discoveries here.
