Dioptase (Belsky Coll.)

Item Description

A gorgeous, emerald-green, gemmy and lustrous, dioptase crystal thumbnail from the famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine. The color saturation and gemminess are top-flight. Complete all-around, the crystal is nicely complimented on one side with powder-blue plancheite botryoids. Very nearly pristine, with only a barely visible bit of termination edgewear. The four backlit photos highlight the intense green color density and gemminess. Classic and excellent dioptase from the Howard Belsky Collection.
