Item Description
Gorgeous, gemmy and lustrous, rich emerald-green dioptase crystals to 1.0 cm (doubly terminated) aesthetically surround a 4.5 cm long, pod-like, botryoidal, primary malachite. The dioptase and malachite are very jauntily set in a cleft in blocky, smoky quartz matrix. Periphery wear is noted on the edge of the specimen, but is only a modest detraction in the preferred viewing orientation. A very impressive and showy combination specimen form the less well-known Christoff Mine of Namibia. Ex Charlie Key dealer stock. Valued at $600-800.
