Item Description
An unusual specimen with gorgeous, sparkling, radiating ball-like clusters of dioptase to 1.5 cm, shooting out like sea urchins from crevasses in this plancheite matrix. Minor cerussite. Unusual! Honestly, the dioptase looks a lot like old 1960s material from the Tiger mine in Arizona, and is really an unusual habit for this location....and pretty, as well. Note from the medium collection number in the 40000s that this goes back a bit, to the 80s.
