Item Description

A classic specimen of trigonal emerald green Dioptase on gemmy Quartz on matrix from the famous copper producing region of the Kaokoveld in Namibia. Similar to Congolese Dioptase specimens in color, gemminess and quality. The largest crystal measures 1.1 cm. Not 100% perfect, but still a good representative specimen of this contemporary classic material. Good crystallized Dioptase is only found in a handful of worldwide localities with crystals of this size and quality.
