Dioptase

Item Description

These gemmy and lustrous, elongated, rich emerald-green, Dioptase crystals are very aesthetically set on matrix. My favorite Dioptases always set up above the matrix, and the largest two (up to 2.1 cm) do just that. These crystals from Kaokoveld have a much different, richer color than those from Tsumeb or Reneville. A few minor bruised crystals are noted, but have minimal impact on the overall quality and the two major crystals are pristine. This is a visually dramatic specimen from this small find.
