Item Description
Beautiful, rich emerald-green cluster of Dioptase crystals from Mindouli (also well-known for being the type locality for Plancheite). Highly lustrous, the central 2.4 cm Dioptase crystal has bands of translucence (with flashes of green fire) winding through it, and the ring of smaller crystals frames it perfectly. While not as well-known as famed Tsumeb or Reneville for Dioptase, this locality has produced some excellent examples of the species, as you can see.
