Diopside with Prehnite (ex Rich Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

A wonderful "Alpine Type" specimen consisting of sharp, lustrous, translucent, deep green prismatic Diopside crystals associated with "clusters" of virtually colorless, gemmy Prehnite crystals and small, whitish, blocky Albite on the underside of the piece. This specimen came to Rich Kosnar about twelve years ago, and I personally have not seen many of them on the market in quite some time. A good reference association specimen from one of the premier "cleft" localities in Pakistan.
