Item Description

A wonderful "Alpine Type" specimen consisting of sharp, lustrous, GEM/gemmy, deep green prismatic Diopside crystals coated by and associated with small, bladed virtually colorless, gemmy Albite crystals. This specimen came to Rich Kosnar about twelve years ago, and I personally have not seen many of them on the market in quite some time. A good association specimen from one of the premier "cleft" localities in Pakistan. Largest Diopside crystal measures 1.5 cm long.
