Item Description
Perched majestically atop a matrix of orange calcite/marble is a stout, lustrous, doubly terminated gray green diopside crystal measuring 7.3 cm across. This specimen, collected in 1964, is the finest from this locality per Larry Conklin. Ex. Robert Nowakowski collection.
