Item Description
A beautiful, very fine and rich combination plate from this classic Italian locale and the Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection. A stunning, gem, 2.2 cm, light green diopside crystal is strikingly angled on the plate covered with scintillating, gemmy, cinnamon-orange, hessonite grossular garnets. Many smaller diopsides on the plate add much character to this outstanding small cabinet combination. Acquired in Bologna in 1977.
