Diopside (ex Obodda)

Item Description

A fairly sharp and well-formed, stout crystal of deep green Diopside from this ancient and world famous locality in Afghanistna. Rarely are sharp crystals found, and the majority of them tend to be rather lumpy, and rounded with a somewhat "melted" look. This one is actually better than the vast majority of Diopside crystals that I've seen from this locality, which is best known for its "Lapis" specimens. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
