Item Description

A beautiful toenail sized specimen of the famous old Diopside crystals from the Orford Nickel Mine in Quebec. This piece has a soft golden-yellow hue with HIGHLY lustrous faces, and excellent crystal form. The crystals are complete all the way around with no damage that I can see outside of the base of the piece where it detached from the pocket wall. If you collect Canadian minerals or you're a fan of Diopside in general, this is a great example of these famous old specimens from this classic locality. Priced at $950 in the inventory.
