Item Description

A wonderful "Alpine Type" specimen consisting of sharp, lustrous, gemmy, greenish prismatic Diopside crystals on matrix. The largest Diopside measures up to 1.7 cm, but the smaller crystals are better quality. I personally have not seen many of these peices on the market in quite some time. A nice reference specimen from one of the premier "cleft" localities in Pakistan. A showy and three-dimensional piece of this lesser seen material from Pakistan.
