These specimens came out around 2000, and I have only seen two different finds of this material in that span of time. The piece features a sharp, lustrous/waxy, rich green, gemmy prism of Diopside on Limestone matrix. The Diopside measures 2.1 cm, and the fact that it's free-standing on the matrix is RARE for the locality. One of the last pieces I have to offer of this material, and one of the best ones I purchased. Valued at $950.
