The color of the crystals from this area is a very attractive light green hue, and truly are some of the more obscure gems out there. One rarely sees any good specimens of Diopside from Tanzania on the market. This stone is a beautiful, virtually eye clean, attractive light green color, narrow "Oval" cut stone. This stone would make for a superb rough and cut set with a specimen from this wonderful locality that is best known for producing highly sought after world class Tanzanites!
