Item Description

An attractive, classic, miniature sized specimen of these distinctive old Diopside crystals from the Orford Nickel Mine in Quebec. This crystal features the classic soft golden-yellow hue see in the material, with lustrous faces, and excellent crystal form. The crystal is complete all the way around with no damage that I can see outside of the base of the piece where it detached from the pocket wall. If you collect Canadian minerals or you're a fan of Diopside in general, this is a great example of these famous old specimens from this classic locality.
