Item Description

A seldom seen specimen of Diopside from the Orford Nickel Mine in Quebec. The piece is more of a reference specimen than anything as both ends are contacted, but it does have an unusual brownish-tan color on the prism faces, which is not what you typically see from this mine as the crystals can range from more of a tan-yellow to a stark green hue.
