Item Description
A classic and most excellent large Leonard Mine combination piece. Digenite is a signature Butte species. A centrally placed 4.2 x 3.7 cm cluster of rounded, sub-metallic, digenite crystals is surrounded by glassy quartz points, smaller digenites and small clusters of platy chalcocite or covellite. The hefty matrix is quartz interspersed with bright, brassy pyrite. A fine, large, older combination piece from this famous mine and a Butte classic. The piece displays well without aid.
