Diaspore (classic material)

Item Description

Once an old classic, there was a lapse of production from this locality for decades. Now, re-mining efforts for specimens here have produced a probably brief burst of this old gem material again. This is a gemmy, "V"-twinned crystal with decent form and light yellow-green color under incandescent lighting which shifts to a pink color under halogen lighting. The piece is not pristine, as one end of the twin is broken, but still nearly water clear in areas!
