The most famous gemstones of Diaspore come from the Selçuk District in Turkey. With that said, there are truly only a few places in the world, where fine gem Diaspore is found, but the Turkish material is certainly the finest and most well-known. Sometimes you'll see this material marketed under the trade name "Zultanite" or "Csarite", but it's all Diaspore. This stone is a lovely soft greenish-yellow colored, "Square Cushion" cut gem with only very very slight inclusions. It's hard to find good gem Diaspores today because the entire locality has been purchased as a large commercial operation, so the supply is under control by a single operator now.
