Diamond octahedron (RARE Guinea - 1.55 carats)

Item Description

Diamonds are rare from any of the eight Guinea localities MINDAT lists for the species and are VERY RARE from this region. This is a very glassy, translucent, colorless crystal with classic adamantine luster. The modified rounded flattened octahedron has very interesting surface textures. From a small select diamond collection. 1.55 carats mass.
