Item Description
A fine old-time 4.36 carat diamond octahedron from one of the world's great diamond mines, discovered in 1871 and mined out by 1914. The textbook gemmy crystal is significant as a good thumbnail specimen and has classic adamantine luster and pretty mottled smoky gray color. Ex Ben Ward Collection.
