Item Description
A 8-mm, 2.55 carat, extremely sharp and gemmy, pretty smoky diamond octahedron. The crystal exhibits the extreme adamantine luster that the species is known for. From a find in the 1980's, specimens like this are very uncommon now. This specimen is from the famous Mir Pipe, which closed in 2004 and was the first and one of the largest diamond pipes of the USSR. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. This piece is fairly worth $800.
