Item Description
A lustrous, gemmy, 0.74 carat, transparent, rounded and mostly clean, white diamond from Crater of Diamonds State Park, Arkansas. The crystal was found by Billy Moore in March, 2009 and comes with a Park card. A very nice-sized, displayable specimen. Stones of this size, validated and actually not too ugly, are RARE! this park sits on a small and ancient diamond-bearing tube, but the diamonds themselves, mined now for a long time and petering out on top, are hard to find amidst the tonnage. Valued at $750 for its looks and locale plus a premium if you were to buy one from the mine or miners, so one like this would usually go for around $1000-1200
