Here we have a SHARP, stepped /striated octahedral Diamond crystal measuring 6 mm at its longest dimension. This is an excellent Diamond with excellent form, luster and internal gemminess. Better in person, and hard to photograph. Most of these specimens are either very old or came out during a temporary breakdown in order at the dissolution of the old USSR. This piece came to us from an old collection, with a hand-written note that said it was from "Saka, Russia". It could be from the Mirny Mine, but I'm leaving it at Sakha Republic.
