Item Description

Despujolsite is an ultra rare hydrated calcium manganese sulfate, found in only three localities worlwide. The gemmy, slightly flattened, hexagonal crystals have pretty and typical, intense yellow-green color. The small find of these crystals, at the recent Tucson Show, was a very interesting, subtle surprise. These crystals several orders of magnitude more important than any previously found. This is a world class find for the species, whether few of us have ever heard of it. This is a very fine cluster of crystals and the frontal view is pristine. The crystals are small, but they are colorful, sharp and gemmy. A very highly representative example. Valued at $250-300.
