Item Description
Despujolsite Is an ultra rare hydrated calcium manganese sulfate, found in only three localities worlwide. The gemmy, slightly flattened, hexagonal crystal has pretty and typical, intense yellow-green color. The small find of these crystals, at the recent Tucson Show, was a very interesting, subtle surprise. These crystals several orders of magnitude more important than any previously found. This is a world class find for the species, whether few of us have ever heard of it. The termination is gently bruised, but this remains a rarity and thus a highly representative example. Valued at $200-250.
