Descloizite with Calcite

The Berg Aukas Mine of Namibia has produced the worlds finest descloizite specimens and this is a very fine, rich and showy combination plate. Upright spearpoints of highly lustrous, metallic blackish-brown crystals cover the crust and are striking accented by lustrous, tan, calcite rhombs. Some crystals have nifty rainbow iridescence and are translucent, root beer-brown! This aesthetic plate is essentially pristine and displays well from all sides and angles.
