Descloizite with Calcite

A unique, old Mexican specimen: Only the botryoidal greenish-brown terminations of the weird curved Descloizite "fingers" peer out from the blanket of calcite; and are dramatically covered with contrasting sparkly, druzy Calcite on this bizarre looking, fantastically sculptural large combination from the Bueno Tierra Mine at Santa Eulalia. Broken "fingers" on both sides reveal the radial growth of the fingers and the hollow tubes where the precipitating lead-zinc-vanadium-rich fluids flowed.
