Descloizite & Vanadinite on Wullfenite (old - classic locale)

Item Description

Old-time, classic large combination from the famous Erupcion Mine at Los Lamentos. Scintillating, translucent, golden-yellow Descloizite microcrystals and matte brown Vanadinite microcrystals (variety Endlichite) nearly totally cover the dramatic, rich mounded sculptural specimen of intergrown tabular wulfenite prisms, to 2.1 cm on edge. The bottom of this impressive 360-degree specimen features a nice surprise. Glassy, translucent, blocky, uncoated "sandwich style" layered wulfies with typical rich multi-hued caramel color are exposed. The mounded white coated matrix is quartz.
