The famous Berg Aukas Mine of Namibia has produced the worlds finest descloizite specimens and this is an excellent, sturdy plate. This piece consists of radiating clusters of matte-gray decloizite spearpoints. The clusters look like floral arrangements and the specimen is nearly pristine, having only a few broken crystals. This fine piece is a highly representative example of the species and famous locality, which closed in 1978. Showy material from the Rob Smith Collection.
