Item Description
Descloizite is rare from Tsumeb. Reddish brown descloizite coats all of the isolated, sharp, tennantite crystals. An unknown sparkly green mineral preferentially coats the descloizite. This very showy and rare piece is significantly enhanced by the scattered, glassy, colorless, smithsonite scalenohedrons. The matrix is solid tennantite. The large tennantite is 1.8 cm. Pristine, except for a broken crystal on the back and a bit of periphery wear. Outstanding and rare combination material from the Rob Smith Collection, a noted Tsumeb specialist.
