Item Description
Sculptural and rarely seen form of descloizite from the famous old finds here that predate the more commonly seen sharp and glassy crystals from Berg Aukas, these were once classics of mineralogy and are seldom seen today. Densely intergrown dendritic clusters of rare, oxide-tinted, elongated descloizite prisms form this striking small cabinet. The crystals reach about 2.2 cm long. Berg Aukas has produced the world's finest descloizite specimens and this is not that - rather, it is something more rare, in style and crystal habit, than those more well known and modern specimens. This is a very showy and uncommon small cabinet varietal.
