Item Description
VERY RARE descloizite granules nearly fill half of this old, antique glass Bayer aspirin bottle with a metal cap from the very obscure Dude Mines of the the less well-known Lake Valley Mining District of New Mexico. The heyday of this silver mining area was 1881-1893, with intermittent mining into the 1950s (for manganese). Ex Dave Stoudt New Mexico Collection. UNIQUE descloizite sample in an old labeled glass bottle from the locale.
