A fine Descloizite specimen, this piece is from the locality that is the undisputed world champion for this mineral. The crystals have an eye-catching, shimmery silver-brown luster, with more of a dendritic form as opposed to the sharp-faced chunky habit often seen in other specimens. This is the more "traditional" look for fine Berg Aukas Descloizites. The longest of these slender crystals is 2.2 cm long, and the overall aesthetics of this graceful cluster are quite good. As you might expect in growths like this, some minimal damage is present: one of the crystals is missing from the presentation side, but it does not affect the appearance at all.
