A highly unusual, sparkling and full cabinet sized Descloizite specimen from the famous Ojuela Mine in Mexico. An exquisite example of the rare Lead Zinc Vanadate mineral characterized by a wet, highly lustrous, rich chocolate brown crystals forming an almost stalactitic style growth form of interconnected bladed spheres up to 2 mm. Some areas are capped with light tan hexagonal crystals that are probably Vanadinite. This piece just has a mesmerizing look! It is in near-pristine condition. The vertical growth combined with the porous structure results in a very sculptural specimen. A magnificent Descloizite that 'pops' under the lights and is a perfect addition to any Mexico collector.
