Decrespignyite-(Y) is an ultra-rare copper-rare earth carbonate unique to this Australian copper mine. Pretty, bright, sky-blue crusts richly cover all sides of the layered shale matrix. The Paratoo Copper Mine, an old, small copper mine in South Australia, is well-known for a highly unusual assemblage of secondary REE and Cu-REE carbonate minerals.
