Bright pretty sky-blue tiny botryoids, crusts and seams of Decrespignyite-(Y) richly cover all sides of the sculptural small cabinet matrix. Decrespignyite-(Y) is an ultra-rare hydrated Cu-REE carbonate named in 2002 and is unique to this obscure, extinct, small copper mine. This mine is well-known for a highly unusual assemblage of secondary REE and Cu-REE carbonate minerals. Seldom on the market. Ex David Burgess Collection, for whom Burgessite is named.
