Item Description

This Trap Rock locality is one of the most impressive (and under appreciated) Zeolite localities in the world. This quarry has produced some amazing specimens in the last 100 years. This particular specimen is a good display piece consisting of light green, crystals of Datolite associated with iron-stained Calcite on basalt. The largest Datolite crystal measures 1.3 cm across. From the collection of Robert Drift, by way of Eric Stanchich. A good cabinet from this historic locality.
