Datolite (rare old classic)

Item Description

A sharp, gemmy crystal for this classic locale, renowned for babingtonite and prehnite. The water-clear crystal has very sharp frontal and side faces, with the internal crazing adding much character. Datolites such as this are very rare on the market and are probably old. A trivial bit of barely noticeable edge wear is noted on the display face and contacting on the back and base are out of sight. Ex Christian Rewitzer Collection. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON.
