Item Description

A classic Datolite from Prospect Park featuring sharp, very lustrous, gemmy, light greenish-yellow crystals measuring up to 9 mm sit on sparkling Quartz matrix on basalt matrix. Virtually undamaged and fine quality for what it is. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#1653). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
