Datolite (old classic locale)

I used to see many of these around in the 1990s, and even then this would have been an important, rre, large specimen. It is a solid cluster of large crystals to 4 cm, on matrix, with this unique pastel blue-green color. Dalnegorsk datolites really set a new modern standard for the species. Large pieces like this have not been on the market in nearly 15 years, and this would have been good even in the heydey for the overall aesthetics, rich color, and good size. It is a superb, cabinet sized, Russian classic! Valued $2400-3000
