Item Description
Fine and colorful polished section of a small cabinet datolite nodule from the Centennial Mines of Michigan's famous Copper Country. Pretty light green areas of included copper beautifully accent the sculptural, porcelaneous white nodule. The rind has a nice knobby look. The well-known Centennial Mines were intermittently worked from 1863 until 1966. Mass is 151 grams. Formerly in the collection of well-known mineral show promoter and mineral collector, Marty Zinn. Ex. Ben Vone Collection. Classic and showy datolite nodule from the locale.
