Item Description

A very showy and extra fine polished datolite nodule from Michigan's famous Copper Country. The polished front has high luster, a nice porcelain texture and, especially interesting, the dark red interior is the result of a rich amount of copper inclusions. Red and yellow are THE most desirable colors for Michigan datolite nodules and this one really has the red! The quality is off the charts on this nodule. Ex Art Soregaroli Collection.
