Item Description

A showy and very fine polished datolite nodule from Michigan's famous Copper Country. The polished front has high luster, a nice porcelain texture and, especially interesting, the pastel-pink to pinkish-red interior is the result of copper inclusions. The uncommon amoeboid form of the copper inclusions REALLY adds pizzazz. Red and yellow are THE most desirable colors for Michigan datolite nodules.
