Datolites from Dal'negorsk are among some of the finest quality Datolites in the world, not to mention large and colorful. This piece came out of Dal'negorsk about around 20 years ago, and is from the famous collection of Dr. Ed David (Specimen #124 H). It features several good sized, sharp, lustrous, golden brown to green crystals of Datolite. The largest Datolite measures 8.3 cm. Good quality, good size and now classic material. Very little damage to speak of on the display side. You don't see many of these Datolites on the market these days, as the area is producing less and less non-sulfide specimens. Valued at $2500.
