Item Description

The Braen's Quarry in New Jersey has been a seldom collected quarry for years, but has been a source of excellent Zeolite specimens and associated species. This piece features no Zeolites, but it hosts lovely well-formed "water green" color crystals of Datolite measuring up to 1.3 cm acorss on minor matrix. The crystals have great luster and very sharp faces, along with slight gemminess in areas. One does not see Datolite of this quality from many localities. A worthwhile large miniature / small cabinet sized specimen. A good example of this classic Trap Rock material.
